CRYSTAL JONES SEX TAPE

after a long dry spell with little inspiration for my next video art project, i have been whet by a dream with the name, "CRYSTAL JONES SEX TAPE". no really, i dreamt this title. and lately dreams have been taking me to very interesting places, and coincidence has been rearing her magical head in my life once more. i tend to listen well when she does. CJST is a story of how babies are made. it is a story of passion and when i say passion i mean both negative and positive. it is a story of voyeurism, cheapness, and the pervading presence of lust driven culture. after peeling back some darker layers i hope to expose a mutual core that we all share-a chasm that protects our most vulnerable bits, our need and want for love. this all sounds pretty deep, eh? well i want to definitely have an overriding sense of humour even with the chosen subject matter, and this will surely be the crux of this project, you know, with sexy bodies and all over the place. i'm inspired some of the specific imagery from the film "Hiroshima Mon Amour" and "L'aventura"-and hope to incorporate these into the video. the video wil star myself and Jonathan Lugo Perez. Will be looking for a unique projection space/gallery come august. love xxx
